Derriford Hospital requested for our team to visit to install some new fire doors throughout the hospital.
Our team quickly set to work to assess the situation within the hospital before discussing with the staff the best course of action. Once agreed our experts set to work to install the new fire doors throughout the hospital while causing minimal disruption to the hospital operations.
As fire doors need to be shut in the event of a fire to slow the spread of the heat and the smoke our expert team installed each fire door with a self-closer.
A qualified fire door inspection
Following the installation of each fire door we ensure each door is inspected by one of our qualified fire door inspectors.
Our inspectors performed a detailed inspection of the hospital fire doors to ensure the highest quality results so they can rest assured that their doors are up-to-standard. Each inspector has received specialised training and assessments to ensure they are certified to carry out fire door inspections.
As well as carrying out fire door inspections on our fire doors, we also carried out a fire door inspection of existing fire doors to ensure the doors were continuing to provide maximum protection and functionality. To ensure the hospital received their results as promptly as possible the process was completed using electronic forms.
